Certified birth doula, Lamaze certified childbirth educator, VBAC trained and certified, trauma-informed care and grief & loss coach
Brings years of teaching and birth support experience across a wide range of home and hospital births, with an evidence-informed approach and a strong passion for informed choice.

Why two educators instead of one?
With two certified childbirth educators, you benefit from complementary expertise, different perspectives, and years of hands-on birth experience. It also means more opportunity for hands-on practice, questions, discussion, and individualized support throughout the class.
How is a doula-led class different from other educators?
As Doulas, our focus is coaching , comfort measures that are both medical and non medical. We specialize in advocacy, partner roles and techniques you actually use in the moment.
Does this cover more than the medical basics?
Yes! Alongside labour and hospital logistics, we spend real time on postpartum adjustments, partner support, infant feeding and advocacy..the parts that often get rushed in shorter, clinical classes.
What does a certified childbirth educator actually mean?
Becoming a certified childbirth educator involves specialized training in how to teach families about pregnancy, labour, birth, comfort measures, coping strategies, interventions, and the transition into parenthood. It goes beyond having knowledge about birth; we are trained to translate that knowledge into education that is practical, accessible, and meaningful for families.Combined with our training and experience as birth doulas, we bring both the knowledge of how to teach childbirth and the hands-on experience of supporting families through it.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the class will receive a refund, minus a $15 administration fee.No refunds are available within 10 business days of the class.
